Oriental Carpet

Choosing

Basic Care

The acquisition of a good carpet is a major investment. Your carpets must be washed by professionals, every other year, to preserve nap. Hence, we suggest the following maintenance procedures bellow.

Vacuuming
1. If carpet is fluffy, stir fibers, loosening dirt before vacuuming.
2. Stitched carpets easily accumulate residues between knots. A powerful vacuum cleaner is necessary.
3. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is in good condition and performing well.
4. Try to vacuum contrary to traffic direction, to avoid flattening of fibers.

Cleaning
Kitchen vapors, air pollution and soot may gradually grime carpet’s surface. This type of dirt may literally cling fibers one to another, worsening the problem of dry dirt, which ends up sticking to carpet. There are several ways of cleaning a carpet but one rule is specially universal: clean your carpet before it becomes disfigured and ugly. No carpet is stainproof, although some are more resistant.
